Sarah B. Tinney - Partner
Practice Areas: Family Law, General Litigation, Personal Injury, Real Estate
Sarah Tinney is a strong believer in her clients' rights under the law. In her opinion, when her clients benefit from legal counsel, society as a whole also benefits. A 1974 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Political Science and a 1977 graduate of the University of Illinois Law School, she concentrates on litigation, business law and real estate.
Sarah sees her strong political science background as a plus for her clients, particularly in litigation, which includes divorce and personal injury. Because the law is the instrument through which justice is preserved for everyone, she and the other members of Erwin, Martinkus, & Cole, Ltd. in Champaign, IL work to gain the greatest benefit possible for clients. She is generous with her time. Sarah gets to know her clients and wants her clients to know her both as a professional and as someone who cares about their problems and concerns. Sarah's time is also devoted to her community. She is currently a board member of the American Red Cross and a member of the Champaign County Bar Association and the Women's Council of Realtors.
